The silent movie classic tells the story of the “Prince Potemkin” battleship and the mutiny of its crew against the degradations inflicted upon them by their officers. They are supported by the people of Odessa who gather at the harbor. The rebellion went down in Russian history as “Mutiny in Odessa.” Clients may choose either the original score by Edmund Meisel that he wrote for the movie’s German premiere or a compilation of various symphonies by Shostakovich.
